BRINGING Insights into AI Product Strategy

Welcome to my portfolio, where customer insight drives product innovation. I shape AI-powered experiences through rigorous research and clear strategic thinking.

AI-powered financial assistanT

This work focused on defining how an AI assistant should behave in a financial environment — where memory retention, action on behalf of the customer, and trust must be carefully balanced.

  • I led foundational and evaluative research for an AI-powered assistant embedded within a consumer fintech product.

The assistant was introduced to help customers reason through financial decisions directly inside the app, but early signals showed a gap between curiosity and sustained engagement.

  • Senior UX Researcher — AI Strategy

I led foundational research shaping the memory, trust model, and interaction strategy of an AI-powered financial assistant embedded in a consumer fintech product. Through generative and evaluative research, I helped the team clarify what the assistant should optimize for, what it should remember, and how it could take action without eroding trust — ultimately influencing roadmap sequencing and defining principles for building responsible, context-aware AI in a high-stakes financial environment.

    • Use cases became sharper and more grounded in real financial friction

    • Memory prioritization shifted to reduce long-term trust debt

    • Interaction design aligned with financial mental models of security and control

    • Roadmap sequencing changed based on memory and trust findings

Unifying Multiple Accounts Under One Identity

Customers were creating multiple accounts under the same identity, sometimes intentionally, often unintentionally. This work resulted in a scalable identity framework that balanced flexibility, compliance, and customer mental models, while reducing fragmentation across the ecosystem.

  • Our challenge was not just reducing duplicate accounts. It was redefining the account architecture so that multiple profiles could exist under a single identity layer, while preserving legitimate use cases and tightening risk controls. This required shifts in data modeling, UX structure, onboarding logic, and customer education — all without disrupting millions of existing users.

  • Senior UX Researcher — Trust & Safety

I led the research strategy across this multi-quarter transformation, from diagnosing root causes to informing rollout decisions.

My role extended beyond insight generation. I influenced sequencing, informed measurement strategy, and ensured that identity unification balanced compliance, usability, and long-term scalability.

  • The insights directly stopped a rollout, reprioritized engineering work, and prevented downstream customer harm.

Because of this research, we built a scalable identity framework that balanced flexibility, compliance, and customer mental models — while reducing fragmentation across the ecosystem.
